New Delhi: Indian envoy Gautam Bambawale was summoned in Islamabad to formally record a protest today, after five Delhi-based Pakistan diplomats were denied visa by New Delhi to travel to Kolkata for the upcoming World T20 match between the two neighbouring countries.
According to reports, one first secretary, two protocol officers and two family members were denied permission to travel to Kolkata.
India has reportedly issued visas for 100 Pakistan spectators for Saturday's match which has faced a storm of controversies over venue and security concerns.
